Lotus Flower Book Club

Do you love books? Are you often looking for people to discuss literature with? Lots of people love to read, but it can be hard to find someone to discuss the book you're reading. If you're having a hard time finding people to talk with about your reading material, you might want to consider joining Virtual Lotus Flower Book Club with emerging author Dr. Pamela Robinson.

Our book club will meet weekly. We have an open-door policy, allowing members to invite interested friends as the spirit moves you. Books will be focused on an array of culturally relevant topics centered around Christian marriage, self-empowerment, mental health wellness, and faith. This is not a substitute for coaching, therapy, or counseling. This is for strictly for fun.

When

Every third Thursday at 7:00pm EST

There’s something we find very special about developing relationships with like-minded people to create community of culturally-sensitive readers. That’s why we are so excited to about our new cutting-edge Lotus Flower Book Club.

We came together to create a book club with the specific intention to have fun, open, and sometimes controversial book inspired conversations in a culturally inspiring virtual platform. It doesn’t matter the persons label or situation, as long as they have an interest in respectfully discussing and learning more about Black culture, race, relationships, history, pop culture, and other topics than all are welcome.

Of course, as is the Lotus Flower Book Club way, our curated reading list will include a variety of book gems, old, new, classic, bestseller, obscure, and self-published, that were written for, by, or about people of the African Diaspora. The livestream book discussion is open for comments and questions from people across the web.

We meet on the third Thursday of each at 7pm Est via https://www.facebook.com/reginavituousladi

Additionally, in the lead up to #DiscussionDay, participants can share their insight in a dedicated group we’ve create specifically for that book discussion at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/drplotusflower

Also don’t be surprised by our surprise guest participants. It could the be author, a noted content expert, or just someone to add to the conversation.
